Training course | Livani - Latvia | 09.02.2020 | 15.02.2020 |
Keep an ageing mind sharp project seeks to increase the supply of high-quality adult teaching and learning programmes, by sharing best practices on effective teaching and learning approaches for adult learners within partner countries in addressing the challenging issues of ageing workforce in rural areas and factors hindering elderly adult learners' skills development for an engaging, productive workforce.
In this training course, participants get practice in analysing different professions in accordance with the requirements of occupational classification skills, abilities, educational possibilities and/or knowledge as well as the repeated knowledge tests. The process keeps learners engaged and encourages them to continually apply and tranfer gained methods.
Through reflecting on experience workshops activity, participants work together to define possible case scenarios that could be seen in their own community or what they might have experienced. Is it possible to engage adult educators and governmental institutions to change the workforce portrait in small towns? If yes, How?
In this regard, the project supports positive and long-lasting effects to expand the offer of customised learning based on the needs of individual adult learners in an inclusive, diverse learning environment. Such a training course provides adult educators with the tools, skills and experience to improve their training and teaching programmes. |
