This training workshop aims at providing menstrual health and hygiene advocates with a step-by-step guide on how to create media-based counter-narrative and alternative campaigns to counter the myths, stigma, and taboos around menstruation and period in the context of youth work. 

The goal is to create menstrual health-hygiene awareness raising campaigns which create an online space for the youth to reflect on and consider their knowledge, thoughts, opinions, attitudes, and behaviours about menstruation. A set of menstrual health awareness raising campaigns reflecting the realities within the project countries will be produced in order to present and spread accurate menstrual health information to challenge menstrual health-hygiene misinformation and disinformation.

At the end of this training workshop: 

1. Through menstrual myths' narratives analysis, participants can combat misinformation and disinformation around menstrual health and hygiene.
2. Participants have developed their capacities to apply and design innovative counter-narrative and alternative campaigns to address menstrual taboos and period shame.
3. Participants have strengthened their capacities to run, monitor, and evaluate media-based counter-narrative and alternative campaigns.
