This meeting aims to bring together Pathways to Teaching Identities partners to discuss the final details of (3) Intellectual Outputs: a training manual for interpersonal skills development, a manual for interpersonal skills advocacy through information and media literacy, an interpersonal skills knowledge assessment tool for adult educators in the context of adult education.
These Intellectual Outputs are developed based on the content of Pathways to Teaching Identities Handbook as a means to respond to the training, teaching, and learning needs and gaps expressed by adult educators during national research in project countries. By strengthening adult educators interpersonal skills capacity, the handbook and linked intellectual outputs make the case for the important role of interpersonal skills in contributing to the adult learners' personal, social, and professional development to achieve a productive career and a better social, cultural, and economic life.
Through these (3) Intellectual Outputs: a training manual for interpersonal skills development, a manual for interpersonal skills advocacy via information and media literacy, and an interpersonal skills knowledge assessment tool, we explore training activities, web-based blogging, and self-assessment, as the pathways for strengthening adult educators’ interpersonal skills capacity, and at same time, be able to transfer, apply, or integrate these intellectual outputs in their adult education work or practices with adult learners.
