This meeting aims to bring together Period Empowerment Network project partners to discuss and establish a new project execution plan in line with the current situation. Meeting discussions will focus on setting and agreeing on new dates for the implementation of two remaining project mobility activities: a training programme, and a Period Conference.

So far, the project has conducted national research on menstrual health and hygiene awareness in the context of youth work within the project countries, delivered a training programme on menstrual health awareness through community-based interventions in the context of non-formal education, and produced a manual on re-educating society about menstrual health and hygiene through youth work. Currently, a short video on menstrual health and hygiene awareness is being developed. 

Based on new dates, the video will be presented during the upcoming training programme on creating counter-narrative campaigns to challenge the myths, stigma, and taboos surrounding menstruation and periods through media-based interventions. The project will be concluded by the Period Conference as a means for partners to evaluate the project, and set the next course of action for result dissemination towards menstrual health advocacy and education.
