Funded by the Active citizens fund in Greece through the project "Active Preventers and Active Bystanders: Preventing Gender-Based Violence in youth’s life", this training workshop seeks to create a learning environment for participants to strengthen their capacity in planning, designing, and implementing effective community-based participatory and rights-based gender-based violence prevention interventions.
At the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Plan, design, and implement effective community-based participatory and rights-based gender-based violence prevention interventions;
- Illustrate the stigma of speaking up: Challenges and obstacles for reporting incidents of gender-based violence by victims and witnesses;
- Present the challenges and obstacles for reporting incidents of gender-based violence by victims and witnesses at the family, school, and community levels;
- Address gender-based violence from the perpetrator's perspective: risk factors and protective factors at the family, school, and community levels.
