Peace Building Process

Peace-building process is a set of activities that aim at reducing tensions, and preventing violent conflicts. If a conflict is not prevented, resolved, or transformed or settled through negotiated means, it could give rise to violence, as a short-cut method for resolving it.

 

Objectives


The PB program assists the participants in developing their capacities and competencies as peacebuilders and provide them with the tools or resource, enabling them to create successful peacebuilding ventures regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds.

 

Activities


Delivered through TC in non-formal education settings, and have both active and experiential learning aspects. From the content focus to the problem-solving learning activities, participants are able to meet the challenges of social inclusion in different cultural settings.

 

Outcomes


Participants are be able to demonstrate and explain the peacebuilding process. They will be able to distinguish various stage of a peacebuilding activity. And they are are able to use training tools and materials to develop and initiate peacebuilding activities and evaluate them.
