This training aims to engage with participants in a virtual world where they are able to assess, identify, and analyse socially constructed malinformation and narratives which tolerate and omit the effects of gender-based violence on sexual and gender minority groups; encouraging them to create proactive solutions toward attitudes or behaviours promoting gender-based violence.
At the end of this training, the participants: gained skills on countering gender-based violence narratives: combating misinformation and hate speech targeted at persons of sexual and gender minorities; can develop counter-targeted narratives, and set up an audience and interact with it by organising content that is interesting to spark dialogue leading to social and behavioural change.
