The integrity of activities and financial information included in annual reports rests with the Executive Board. The annual report includes activities report and financial statements prepared by the Executive Board. As a human rights, non-profit organisation, we set the highest standard of transparency, accountability and ethical financial reporting. Attention is given to the constant track on how projects are implemented, and how funds are used, to ensure that adequate, unbiased reporting standards are attained. Our procedure provides reasonable assurance that all operations are conducted in conformity with binding rules as defined in our statutes and by granting agencies in each grant agreement.
The Executive Board meets its responsibility for the quality of the organisation activities and financial reporting. It acts as the activities evaluator and financial auditor, to ensure that our commitment to ethical operations and financial monitoring are met. In our opinion, in the annual report, we maintain, in all material respects, effective internal evaluation and monitoring over activities and financial reporting based on Executive Board's assessment and conclusion. Each annual report includes projects and funds of two fiscal years. Our fiscal year starts on January 31st and ends on December 31st of the reporting year.
