The international pool of trainers was established by the adoption of the December 2020 resolution by the General Assembly on training and education policy for quality youth work, where the profile, and duties of our trainers are detailed.
The international pool of trainers is primarily meant to be a trainer resource for our training educational activities in non-formal education. It aims to facilitate empowerment of youth and youth workers, and be an important resource of knowledge, skills, experience, and best practice that will contribute to capacity strengthening and development of our organisation, our partner organisations, and other institutions cooperating with us.
The goal of the international pool of trainers is to establish a knowledge-based resource centre of trainers whose experiences and know-how are used in the planning, designing, and delivery of our educational interventions in the field of youth education and training; and thereby, establish a functional non-formal education framework that acts as a recognised body in consulting on youth issues, policy, and education.
The tasks of the international pool of trainers are to create training resources and participatory training approaches to make our youth work more effective in order to ensure the quality of our training and educational interventions by having a proper range of training materials and tools. The objective of the international pool of trainers is to provide training, facilitation, moderation, and consultancy services to our partner organisations through international cooperation to foster a space for education, creativity, learning, and exchange of good practice and experience. |
