This press conference is the official launch of the project IMPACT: Inclusion and Motivation through Arts of Children and Youth. The project takes place between January 2021 and July 2023, coordinated by the Asociația de Arte și Spiritualitate ZAN ART, based in Bucharest, Romania. The project is funded by the Local Development, Poverty Reduction, Increasing Roma Inclusion Programme, under the call Inclusive education for children and young people at risk, Norwegian Grants 2014 – 2021. The objective of the project is the development and promotion of inclusive, equitable, quality education in Romania and the social inclusion of children and young people with special needs or at risk of school dropout, through the arts. 

The project responds to the educational, personal, social, and inclusion needs of children and young people by: Conducting arts workshops, including theater, painting, dance, film, photography to develop children's motivation, creativity, confidence, social and personal skills, facilitating their social inclusion and motivation for school; Providing psychological and motivational support to children and parents through personal development workshops and creating a platform for psychological and motivational support for parents and children; and the validation in practice and promotion of 4 methodologies of inclusive, quality education, promotion of fundamental human rights and freedoms, through the arts.
