Are you a youth environmental activist living in the Nordic and Baltic Sea region? Sick of watching fossil fuel companies burn our future? Wanting to build power and make change happen? You are not alone! The catalysts for change programme unites the youth activists from the Nordic and Baltic Sea region to level up their activism. The fight for our future is not easy! That is why we need to skill up, understand the systems we are fighting against, motivate others to get organised, and run campaigns that work. Together, we can catalyse real change, and build a sustainable future worth fighting for.
The catalysts for change educational programme brings together motivated youth activists to develop change-making skills and support each other through a summer of action. The hybrid course is designed and run by youth activists from the ReGeneration 2030 network: by youth, for youth. The programme is part-time and mostly online. It will start on March 06th and end on August 11th. There will be 4 online workshops and 2 in-person residential workshops. You can apply if you: are 15-25 years old and live in the Nordic or Baltic Sea Region; speak and understand English; are available to attend most or all of the sessions; and are ready to catalyse change this summer!
During the course, you will connect with a group of 25 youth activists to learn and grow. At the end of course, you will: Understand climate change: what is happening, and what is causing it; Be inspired by collective actions’ success stories; Gain the skills to make positive change happen; and Gain a support network to encourage you to take system-changing action this summer in your activist group. It is really important that you are available to attend all of the courses, and to take system-changing action with your local group this summer! You are more likely to be offered a place if you can attend all the workshops, and are already part of a local activist movement. Apply here! |
