Cultural transfusion

The aim of the cultural transfusion project is to improve the quality of youth education by integrating new technologies and methodologies in teaching humanities subjects (contexts, interdisciplinary education) and to improve the participation rates of adult learners in lifelong learning, including professional development of teachers and educators dealing with cultural education of young people as a means to promote equality and social cohesion in working with young people at risk of cultural exclusion.

The project’s approach aims to guarantee the quality of the educational offer addressed to young people by developing cultural education in cooperation with specialists from different countries and sectors to facilitate the opening of young people to new topics, enrich their perception, enable the exchange of thoughts with others, and stimulate their awareness of the surrounding world and the people around them. During project, it is planned to jointly develop 3 complementary results of intellectual work: one on the Humanistic contextual education, A set of creative tasks on cultural education and good practice and the organisation of dissemination events, conferences and workshops.

Cultural education, for which there is no place in traditional formal education, is an important element in youth education because it prepares young people for a subjective, competent, and active participation in culture, which in turn allows for the full development of humanity and autonomous conscious and creative functioning in society and in the world. One of the most important aspects of the effectiveness of project’s activities is the strengthening of the cultural educational competences of those involved in the project, including preparation for cultural activity both receiving and creative, deepening cultural competences in terms of knowledge and/or skills on cultural education, and shaping attitudes towards culture reflection, critical evaluation of culture, role of inspiration in youth cultural education.
